Richard Rudnicki

Richard Rudnicki is an award-winning picture-book illustrator, an author and a painter. He is perhaps best known for his paintings, drawings and illustrations depicting scenes and stories from Canada's past. His plein air and studio paintings of regional landscapes are in many collections. He paints contemporary genre and historical scenes. Most of his picture books are about subjects from Canadian history. He conducts workshops in painting, drawing and illustration, gives illustrated talks and takes private students.
