Inspire the educators of tomorrow with the life stories of ten women teachers. Each of them made a difference in the lives of their students and in education as whole. Included is Maria Montessori, who at the turn of the last century became the first female doctor in Italy, going on to found the Montessori method of self-directed learning. Other women profiled include native educator Dorval Onesime from Canada and Malalai Joya, who is campaigning for girls' education in Afghanistan.
